Nothing captivating or 'wow'. Good story and plot. Not alot of character development. Narrator was excellent and I enjoyed her voice.

Loved the narrator and the style of writing from a single characters perspective. Interesting story to hear how someone manages through life and how things impact them, and as they grow in life. However, the main purpose, to answer her relationship to her father was kept a secret until the last 1 hour. It's alot of writing to find the answer and I don't think the middle part was needed to enjoy the ending. The ending was also under-whelming. I'd have given a four stars if I was more moved or the middle chunk of story telling was shorter.

Is it fairy or Ferry?

I found the first half of the book very difficult to read through, and kept confusing the characters and didn't understand what was going on. Then it got interesting with the double pregnancy. The narrator's Voice at times was difficult to understand because of the accent. I could not tell if she was saying ferry, as in the boat or fairy as in the mythical character. At the end of the book, I'm still not sure but I think it was ferry, altho for 3/4 of the book I thought it was fairy. However I do see the appeal of someone with a British accent reading this book, so I wouldn't change it however I wish the pronunciation was a little clearer to distinguish.

Informative and quick.

The podcasters were very enjoyable to listen to. Some humor, lots of science. It was quick to listen to and simple to understand. A good range of topics discussed.

Struggled to get into it. So confusing Didn't realize until 60% through that the story switches back and forth from present to past. It all wraps up in the very end and is very cool. Many surprises.

Took a long time (~half the book) of whining and complaining. Finally there was some action and it was decent. But the ending was not shocking. Very anti climatic. I enjoyed listening to the authors describe their writing at the very end.

Loved the idea of the book. The flip from present to future was co fusing to following in the audiobook. I didn't understand alot and had to replay. In the end, the ensung wasn't shocking and pointless.

I almost gave up 1/3 of the way. I lasted that long because I trusted it would get better. It finally did! But only for the 2/3 portion and then confusing and a bit boring again. I only enjoyed the part where Grace told her stories about living with kineer and Nancy as it was interesting to hear about everyday life in the 1840s. It was a good book to get an idea of life in that era anyways.
