Good for quick read. Not very deep. Pretty predictable plot. The first quarter was tough to get through - zero empathy for character

Loved it. The writing was incredible. I really felt and saw the action as it unfolded. Even when it seemed to ramble, I listened closer and the pictures the author painted took on a form. I want to listen again because I’m sure I missed some of her hidden gems. The narration was outstanding as well. Really makes me appreciate art and life on another level.

Waaaaaaay to boring for me. Surprised it has such good reviews. Nothing special or inspiring about the plot. The narrator was blah. Maybe I’m just in the wrong head space.

I really loved how she weaves in the challenges faced by working moms and women in today’s workplace. Well done - funny, yet poignant. All tied together with intrigue and suspense. Great job

If you want to listen to a thesis on Lincoln with endless footnotes and citations, you’ll like it. I was expecting a story. I couldn’t get through it. Not what I expected at all. Others may enjoy the new approach to writing. Not my schtick.

I may have missed something - but I really didn’t find the book all that inspiring or interesting. I found it pretty depressing. Cool that it was set in Toronto though.
