I really did not like the musical interludes. I prefer to stay with my imagination and felt the music was an unwanted distraction.

The book was very good and was reminiscent of old story books and fairy tales.

What an amazing and captivating story. The narration is perfection! I look forward to visiting Italy and finding these locations someday.

I don't even know what to write as a review because I'm confused. I didn't hate it but didn't like it, at times it seemed to go on and on and jump around from past to present and back again. The story has some interesting twists but for the most part left me disliking all of the characters and wishing I hadn't bothered with this book

Loved the book, light and easy reading/listening. Not a complicated plot as the comparisons between the 3 main threads was very apparent but well done.

I agreed with many of the other reviewers, the narration of Milton Bagby seemed to not fit at first but after a short time I found it to be just fine. So I suggest you consider this book it's a good story and I enjoyed it very much

I usually avoid books that scare me and that’s what I expect when I see Steven King is the author. My brother & niece assured me this book was not scary & was an amazing read.
Boy am I glad I took their advice! One of the best books I’ve experienced in years! Added to that the narrator was perfect, I highly recommend this book.
