I enjoyed the storyline of the book while learning more about attitudes towards the Jewish people in the late 1940s. This book is good for teenagers as well as adults.

I enjoyed this book because I came to know each character intimately and as the plot unfolded, learned how each of their life experiences then affected their responses to others around them. The book is like a web of individual stories that explain the outcome of first scene in the book. Well read and hard to put down.

This book immediately starts out as a murder mystery. But is intertwined with psychology, art and passion. The ending did not disappoint. Definitely a good audiobook.

This book was a pleasure to listen to. I enjoyed getting to know the various characters through McCarron's ability to adopt each characters voice. The story is somewhat bizarre at first but then everything is explained as Eleanor works through things. Not a cliff hanger, but enjoyable to read. #Audible1 #Love #Understandothers.
