THIS BOOK has changed my life!!!!! Recently I downloaded and listened to Mr Brands insightful musings around acceptance and evolution of self. Since then (24 whole hrs!!!) I have undergone a sincere and in-depth self examination, purged my soul and my psyche and re-evaluated my life goals going forward. Russell’s gentle and yet forceful guidance has upended my view of the world and my place in it - I find myself driven to make changes, to inspire good, to climb mountains, save elephants, to BE THE BEST ME I CAN BE!!!! ... Russell Brand is a font of wisdom who reads with the compassionate tones of a new age Buddha....and I am drinking in his sparkling nuggets of enlightenment and pansophy - you should too!!

*** reality break: This IS a thought provoking listen, Russell is a great narrator who captures your interest and holds it throughout the book. His insight is relevant and timely (especially given the opportunity for introspection that COVID has provided) ... this is a book to listen to multiple times..I will mull over the contents and shape it to my life and then go back and listen again - Russell never disappoints and I always feel like I have grown after listening to his work (emotionally not in height!!)

I couldn’t put this down... I particularly loved the way nursery rhymes and Grimms fairytales were incorporated into the story... Gabra Zackman was an excellent narrator.

Excellent - well read and so engrossing... but also so sad, The only thing I didn’t like was the ending and that was because The characters were so well played and written that I felt for them and I didn’t want the story to end that way for them.

An excellent listen

This was such an interesting concept.. the writing was strong and drew me in .. I loved Addie and Luc’s characters... wasn’t so fond of Henry although for the part he played he made total sense... no spoilers but the ending slayed me.. I rarely cry at books but I had a real lump in my throat during the last chapters.... I had something in my eye.. okay?... I’m not crying - you’re crying!!

Funny, heartwarming & inspiring

Whitney Way Thore has a way with words (pun intended) her story is well written and nicely narrated. I hope she continues documenting her life’s work and I look forward to reading her next book.

Combines everything I ever wanted in a SciFi saga!
And a new interesting take on both the end of the dinosaurs and the fascinating power of Prion diseases.

This was such an interesting book - even my hubby was hooked and he does t usually like audio books.
Caitlin deals with death matter of factly but also with empathy and humour making a difficult and potentially gruesome topic educational and human.
I learnt so much that i didn’t even know That I needed to know but am now so glad that I do. I will be looking for more of Ms Doughty’s books to listen to in the future.
