most likely will be the next big name in humorous sci Fi/phantasy genre on the same level as the Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy

The book does not have a deep storyline but it has that light teenage action movie feel to it. Occasional humour adds to the charm. Perhaps the sequels will improve.

The narration is perfect as any other work by Neil Hellegers. The story has a lot of room for improvement.

The story is captivating. The narration is top class. I love books that inspire creative thinking like this one.

I really hope there will be an eighth book!

longest book in the series makes one think this was the author's final work. I hope I am wrong and there will be a continuation! absolutely astounding book!!!

The development of the character and the main story continues to please. The author is great at balancing the growth in power for the protagonist unlike some other books of this genre. Definite must listen to book for litrpg fans.

Too little humour, too much of author's repressed sexuality pouring out uncontrollably. The plot is childish with no real depth. I struggled with two thirds of the book waiting for the interesting to start, but finally gave up.

Great continuation to the great series.

The book was a wonderful follow up for the main characters of previous three books. Perhaps this is the final (hopefully) chapter for these ones. The universe that the author has created is too vast to give up on that quickly though and it may be a great idea to further the offshoot of Carson's story for the next book.

When is the next one coming?!

Absolutely great. The story is solid, captivating and has complex layers. The character is well defined and has a long way to grow into the "good evil" that he is. In a sea of litrpg genre stories available right now this one is a must to listen to. Cant wait till the next series comes out.

Good story and main character. This book being the first in its genre makes it special. Will continue onto the next series just to see if it can compete with the newer challengers.
