I loved this story! Tom Hanks did such a good job of narrating it. I even liked the way he announced each chapter. The story unfolded chronologically--which I liked. Danny and Mave's love for each other is enviable. Some very human emotions and occurances have unfolded yet leaving me with some cozy questions I really don't want answered. I would recommend this to anyone who likes generational stories.

I enjoyed this story, how it unfolded, piece by piece. It held my attention--I'm sorry it's finished!! The narrator was very good with all the voices. The story held many emotions. I'll listen again someday--maybe even read a paper copy.

Strange topic--this is what drew me to this book. That and Colin Firth narrating! A lot of dialogue between characters--I usually prefer action. But once I got I got into the story, l could not stop listening. The lovers' angst is well told. The ending was tender and surprising! I like surprises! I would recommend this story--it got me out of my comfort zone and I consider that a learning experience.

I enjoyed this story very much. The characters unfolded with reality. The ending made me cry real tears with sobs and a smile!! I will listen to it again someday. The narration was also well done. Thank you to both Fredrik Backman and George Newbern!
