Très long. Triste récit mais nécessaire. bon courage.

Delia Owens captured the marshes soul through this tale of love, dedication to life and all its creatures of the wild and humanity.

I listened to all Louise Penny’s books. Love the characters including the dogs and duck menagerie! However found this last volume way too descriptive, stretching the story, too paternalistic. For the first time I felt the author was unnecessarily « filling » text. Bathurst excellent as always.

Again Gamaches brilliance is second to none. Many new emotions uncovered. In particular with the old poet Ruth Zardo.

This was my 11th Louise Penny’s book read in chronology.

Louise Penny captures feelings and emotions of her characters like no one çan do. Great Suspense.

Robert Bathurst best narrator
Second to Adam Sims.

At the beginning of this recording, it was Surprising how Louise penny herself acknowledges the work of Ralph Cosham (who passed away) as being the best....He was good but he skipped words, end of sentences hardly audible....I preferred Adam Sims... until Robert Bathurst read this one!! Can’t wait for next!

Sims vraiment meilleur.
Sims EST Gamache!!!
