As a partial fan of the games and Netflix series I wanted more. Both of which were great in my humble opinion.

This book is a lot of character development, no doubt about that. The characters are likeable, unique and the dialog is solid too. The story doesn't shy away from more mature subject matter either while still remaining tactful.

The narrator for this is truly amazing. He really embodies each character to the point where I almost forget it's all the same guy. Great rhythm and cadence as well. A+ acting.

One thing to note, is that even though this is book 1 (which is where I started without doing any research) the common recommendation online is that you start with the two preceding short story collections, starting with The Last Wish.

Unfortunately for whatever insane reason Canadians cannot purchase it on audible. Do some light digging on Google and you may or may not be able to find it.

Amazing concepts, too much fluff.

I love the concept of this book. I think having a good understanding of fixed mindsets and where you may have them and not know is essential for personal growth. But this book is 98% anecdotes. I wanted some exercises or practical steps to achieve said mindset for ones self and it was relished to about 2 minutes of audio at the end. Great concept, fluffy mediocre execution.

Great reading of a great book. If you're looking to develop a strong way of living and take charge of your existence on this planet you should already be spending that credit of yours. I had to listen multiple times and write a summary to get all the juice out of this book, but enjoyed the process each time. Another reviewer wrote "steel for your spine" which I whole heartedly agree with. 🏋️ Just do it
