Did not disappoint at all. In fact I have started listening to it again straight after just finishing it. And I have the same enthusiasm and attentiveness listening. For me David Goggins keeps it real and cuts out all the bulls**t.

By facing his fears and going beyond the wall or breaking point for most people David tells us how it makes him and anyone else who has the determination and drive to it stronger.

Get at it everyday. Consistency is essential for growth. The accountability mirror and taking souls will stay with me forever as great tools to build myself up to become stronger.

Bought the book also. To good not too.

Throughly great book.

A very engaging book. Haruki is a likeable guy who loves to run. His questioning his own reasons for running, training and major life decisions takes you deep inside his thoughts and for me I became reflective on my own similarities to his story. Why do I run so much? Can I get better. He talks of his learning curve of triathlons and becoming a better swimmer. Following his passion! Hating not doing what he wants to do. I feel much better and experienced having read his book and I am sure others will love it too.

Engaging, enjoyable book.

Loved listening to Charlie Engle’s story. Keep me entertained whilst out running myself.
Pushing his body through what is perceived as breaking point to find that short bliss and ease before the pain kicks in again. Must read or listen for any runner.

Easy book to listen too. I got to know Rich Roll a lot better and enjoyed the journey he takes you through of his life and struggles and achievements. I listened to most of the book running myself. The best way possible to listen to this book on reflection. It made it that much better. Highly recommend for any runner.
