Mel has a straight forward approach to making changes in your daily. The takeaways from each coaching session were useful. The book is an easy listen not preach which not Mel's style at all. I can't wait to the workbook to help me deal with my FEAR. For 2021 it's all about following my FEARS and adjusting my thoughts to a growth mindset. Great job Mel and the 6 individuals who shared their stories.

This story had so many plot twists. It's hard not to judge the people in the story. It has me asking myself what would I do in that situation. Losing your children 💔 I can only imagine how that effects your mental health. A person's selfish deed leads to a chain of disastrous events. The children and the mothers are the real victims.

I enjoyed this series as my title says it makes you think twice about the road your food traveled to get to your plate. To think that a small nut can be so valuable that it would drive people to commit a crime is crazy to me. The way Mark presents the story is entertaining. Take a listen you won't be disappointed.

The narrator voice keep me going in this book. I was a little confused at first about Hiram and his brother not realizing that Hiram was mixed and his brother was white. I feel like the book did tie up the loose ends the way I was expecting. I wonder if there is going to be a part 2. It hard to listen to the pain and evil white people cause on the name of being "good Christians". The number of families that were separated and never reunited.

This documentary is an eye opening experience to how the laws affected the black communities. Its shows the extreme measures that were taken on people who got caught up in this epidemic. Fast forward to present day where the opioid epidemic is seen as a mental health issue. I will be looking into more of these laws to see if they've changed.

I was looking for a great black drama instead it was more of a parody. If you're looking for a fun book you could get into it. There are some parts that are a bit problematic.
