Alll the stories were helpful and informative. Only wish there was more on ptsd. My spouse was abused horribly as a child and didn’t deal with it in the best way as a young adult and ended up in prison. He has worked hard to come to a some wheat healthy place but still lots to do. I have come from a slightly manipulative relationship with my ex and have developed ptsd with my current spouse due to his abuse mental and physical. Yes I am in therapy but also seek out more anywhere I can to help out situation. We both love each other and want to make it work but very hard when there are still road blocks due to so many triggers and as you can imagine we are the worst person to be with, with these issues. So hard to work through. Thank you for the bits and pieces that I will try and implement into my process of trying to heal past wounds.

Women want to be in love, get married, and live happily ever after. Yet disrespect for men and disregard for the value, feelings, and needs of husbands has fast become the standard for male-female relations in America. Those two attitudes clash in unfortunate ways to create struggle and strife in what could be a beautiful relationship.
