I love hearing this book as I can no longer read myself.
As I listen to this it has taught me a lot of what I am figuring out for myself over the past few years since my brain injury and diagnosis with Aphasia.
John points out so many things I wish I had known about 20-30 years earlier in my life, what he describes makes perfect sense to me. The law of trade offs has been huge as I went from being at the top of my game with nobody under me to the bottom of the barrel when I was forced to change careers after losing my ability to read and work with numbers.
I retrained and am now doing something I love and helping others more than ever. I took about an 80% cut in pay and I have never been happier. I am learning new things every day and love hearing what others have to share, some I take with a grain of salt. I will be listening to Johns other books after I listen to this one and make notes on it.

Thank you for sharing.
