Narration was great. Topics I could relate too. I've already purchased another of Brene Brown's books to listen too. Will wait for full book to become an audio book and consider purchasing it.

Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

I was pleasantly surprised.

I was recultant to purchase due to the title as I am a bit of a prude and care too much about everything. It was better than expected and does not at all tell us not to care, only to choose what we care about carefully.

The world’s leading expert on habit formation shows how you can have a happier, healthier life: by starting small. Myth: Change is hard. Reality: Change can be easy if you know the simple steps of behavior design. Myth: It’s all about willpower. Reality: Willpower is fickle and finite, and exactly the wrong way to create habits. Myth: You have to make a plan and stick to it. Reality: You transform your life by starting small and being flexible.

Will listen to again. Don't miss out just speed up
Reviewed: 2020-04-18
My sister and I listened to this book. She found this audiobook hard to listen to. I suggested listen at a faster speed as I do with all my audio books. Don't miss out just speed up, you shouldn't miss this message. The opening story is inspiring. Many great life comparisons to help motivate but also allows for slip ups. I will be listening to this book again as I have had a few slip ups.
