Touching, devastating, heartbreaking, endearing and loving. This novel is expertly written as if the author himself had been there. I literally wept through it as I listened to the story or Larley and Gita - you will never forget these brave amazing souls.
By far the best account I have ever read of the horrors of the death camps of the Nazis. Difficult to bear but important to remember. A must read

It’s definitely a tearjerker and something that will make you think of THOSE summers with your BFF. Sweet, poignant and touching. Kristen Hannah is a genius.

A riveting historical- fiction based on true events with characters that represent all the poor children victimized by this horrible woman.
