Solid listen. Great performance. Written in the same classic Jack Campbell style. On to the next book!

I didn't like this and couldn't finish it. There are too many issues with the logic.

Sci-fi and fantasy are my bread and butter, and I'll forgive a lot, but it just doesn't make sense. Simple things like growing up in a population of a large high school and not knowing absolutely everyone on board broke the suspension of disbelief. Or, a dystopian future with limited resources, yet a character has black nail polish.

It's like listening to Waterworld in the sky. Hard pass.

Great performance by RC Bray as always.

It's an interesting story but the pacing is off. It's as if the authors are trying to cram in more story into less text.

I'm on the fence about trying the sequel.

RC Bray solid as always.

I definitely enjoyed reading this book! It was interesting and fun and I think I just might read it again. I guess now I have to buy all the other books because when you enjoy one from a series like this you just can't let it end.

I've listened to them all and love the series. The preceding book was amazing. This was interesting and dull at the same time. The next one must come soon because it feels like so little actually happened.

Great performance by TGR as always.

Beautifully written, expertly performed, this is a work that properly anchors the quartette, and does justice to history.

This is a great story and is well performed. I wish that it was longer because it barely felt like the story got going. Still, I'll spring for any additional books

Loved it. Probably my favorite of all the series in the Elan universe, including Revelations and Chronicles.

Story was beyond solid.
Tim Reynolds was on point.

The waiting for the next one will be the hardest part.

This is the Empire Strikes Back of the series. It's fast paced, has fantastic space battles and a great ending. I immediately downloaded the sequel.

The space battle in particular is well written and unlike any other I've read.

Constructive feedback is that some of the emotional stuff is a bit eye-rolly, but it's mercilessly brief, and arguably necessary for the story.

Also, top notch performance by Christian Rummel.

I enjoyed this book. The two characters are as snappy as ever. If you like the series you'll enjoy this one.
