Even Heinlein had his off days. I'm never going to be able to say this is as good as a lot of his other stuff. It doesn't seem geared towards any audience in particular.

Want to know a lot of Trump's dirty little secrets? This is a tell-all by the guy who knows them, and sometimes even the architect. The narrator is perfect for the role.

The most memorable moment is when Merlin revealed to Arthur who he truly was. I listen to that part over and over again. It gives me cold shivers. Close to that in intensity is the battle scene where King Uther threw his sword to the then-unknowing Arthur.

Maybe I just don't get this kind of genre, but I found the book hard to listen to. The narrator was flat, almost monotone. And kept putting me to sleep.

I love this-It's my all-time favourite trilogy. The story of Merlin takes the reader back in time, thanks to Mary Stewart's incredible storytelling ability. With her words she makes all the characters and locations immediate, not lost in the distant past.
I really don't care for the narrator.
