Several years ago, Sam Walker set out to answer one of the most hotly debated questions in sports: What are the greatest teams of all time? He devised a formula, then applied it to thousands of teams from leagues all over the world, from the NBA to the English Premier League to Olympic field hockey. When he was done, he had a list of the 16 most dominant teams in history. At that point he became obsessed with another, more complicated question: What did these freak teams have in common?

Heard great things about this book but the narrator wasn’t for me. Bought the Kindle version instead.

Good info and a great follow up to Start With Why, but is probably more useful as a physical book, as it’s more of a workbook than something that has a narrative.

New research has revealed that myelin, once considered an inert form of insulation for brain cells, may be the holy grail of acquiring skill. Journalist Daniel Coyle spent years investigating talent hotbeds, interviewing world-class practitioners (top soccer players, violinists, fighter, pilots, artists, and bank robbers) and neuroscientists. In clear, accessible language, he presents a solid strategy for skill acquisition.

Loved the book and was full of great information about teaching/learning. The audible version wasn’t ideal though because the actual chapters of the book were chunked into five big chapters in audible so it made it difficult to go back and review different chapters. Would recommend getting the book or kindle version instead.
