this book was good. I found the narration a little bit dry, though.
worth the listen though.

I gave this book a try on a whim. it was good, but it didn't Inspire as much as I thought it might. I thought that the first part was really good and the last part was excellent. Everything in between though? it kind of fell flat. I felt like she was just writing chapters to write chapters. And sometimes they had no relevance. I will probably give another one of her books in a shot.

this book will keep you smiling along the way.

I'm a huge fan of Mindy and I loved her last book. This one did not disappoint! The only reason I didn't give it the full five stars is because I felt that it got a little bit long in the tooth when she was writing hypothetical e-mails back and forth to hypothetical people. But nonetheless, that portion was also very funny. I think it's great that Mindy can be real with us about who she is and what it takes to look like an average celebrity in Hollywood. Read this book, or rather listen to this book, if you just want a feel-good experience.

A little long in the tooth, but good overall

This story was good, but it went on for far too long with little repetitive details. I actually increased speed to 1.20x to keep it moving.

Kept me wanting more/predictable

I love this narrator! She's fantastic with conveying emotion. Once I started this, I couldn't stop. I did figure out the twist early but I still listened to the end.

I could feel this character in myself! trying just to make it through the day with kids and a small business. I could feel her frustration! it's a great story. I guessed the ending but then assumed I was wrong, only to be proven right. very good narrator!

I really had a hard time getting into this audiobook, because there's a lot of details described. it wasn't automatically gripping but its worth the long listen in the end. the twist is worth it.

I thought the story was really good. unfortunately I found it a little bit slower than I would have read it, because the narration is a little bit more paused. otherwise I thought the story was fantastic and it is worth the read
