I'm usually a fan of Karin Slaughter books but not this one. It was okay, not great. It almost seemed like she hadn't planned the end the book and just weaved characters together. Excellently narrated.

Having lived close to where Mike grew up, this book made me feel so proud to be Canadian.

It is funny in places and a little sad. too. This is more of an au mage to how his success came to be vs a book about Canada. It is but it's mostly about him.

I've read over the years that MM wasn't always the greatest person to work with. I now understand. I don't think he realizes that he comes across as a d**k.

I do recommend the book. It's a short listen, and if you grew up...or even lived close to Toronto, the nostalgia fuzzies will get you. Well, they did me.

I didn't really follow the Spice Girls in the 90s but I got to know Mel B from watching AGT. Then all the tabloids about her being abused and I recall thinking "she seems to together". This book came up as a Deal of the Day and I figured I give it a shot.

It's amazing what a work ethic can do for you. What happened in front of cameras vs behind her closed doors is nothing short of amazing how she made it through with a sound mind.

I finished this book with a great deal of respect for Mel B and admire her strength to (Girl) Power on. Would recommend.

That certainly won't deter me from reading the final book but I found this one dragged a little without much substance. Another stellar performance by Julia Whelan.

I picked this up based on the synopsis. It is not entirely accurate. There is a murder but it's the back story. This book is about a group of friends on New Years Eve. Tom Foolery ensues, people laugh, people cry.

The narration was very good. That's probably the reason I kept listening.

Overall: narration was excellent but the story really lacked for me. Was expecting a thriller .

Loved it.

This was my very first Nora Roberts book so I cannot compare it to any of her others.

Great storyline, characters you rooted for and against. A little bit of suspense, romance, drama and laughs. I recommend this title.

Good story told from different characters perspectives. The narration was also well done. I recommend it if you like suspense novels.

Oddly weaved tale. I found it to be very predictable yet I wanted to know what happened next. Not terrible, not great. Wouldn't pay full price.
