a book that got around my overly critical mind and let me enjoy it. I hope the sequels are just as good.

The book before this: Ok A Pale Horse was enjoyable. This sequel is not only completely unimaginative, full of painfully transparent plot manipulation, 2D characters, and dialogue that most have been written by a 9 year old; it's just rampant with self-ignorant misogyny.
There was a little of it in the first book but I was able to overlook it because the story was fun but this one really takes it up 7 notches.
I'm a straight guy and 1/4 way through this book I've felt the whole time like I'm getting a creepy "nudge nudge wink wink" from a creepy old man while he reads me his 3rd rate erotic fiction..
IT'S EMBARRASSING. I just can't finish it.
Don't even about the author's note about how publishers are too afraid of offending people...
Still love the narrator George Guidell ever since he read The Gunslinger but I hope he doesn't have too many more of these B-picks.

Lots of interesting knowledge.
The audio should have been better compressed for more consistent volume.

Yeah the writing's not the best but I love George Guidall.
He's got a voice like snug denim. I really wish he'd done all the dark tower stories.
