The story was lovely and the narration was excellent. I found the telling of the story to be disjointed. Characters that seemed peripheral were later revealed as having been important. I don't mean that the rose to importance but rather in hindsight they felt made important. Other characters disappeared from the story and I felt like I missed a chapter of the book. Still, it was a good story.
