This is an exciting trip through the science and ancient methods of breathing. Nestor’s exploration is truly exciting. There is sufficient information in the recording to permit the listener to begin using the techniques which are simple. Nestor has a website associated with the book which offers videos as well. Also a bibliography appears on his website. An excellent overview of knowledge about Breath. Written in an entertaining way as well. Reading is well done.

Interesting story of American graduate student’s adventures in India during the mid 1970s. Well narrated by the author. Likely of most interest to a reader who is a student of or has some knowledge of Hinduism or Buddhism.

A thoroughly enjoyable story. In fact there are two main stories interwoven as a contemporary historian unravels the mysterious story of the strong woman whose writing comes into the historian’s sphere.
The finely nuanced reading brings the contemporary and historic characters to life.
I enjoyed everything about this production—the story of the female scribe and her associates, the actual historical context (17th century London’s Jewish community) and the contemporary characters, the historian and her assistant, and the reading. Therefore 5 stars all round.
