I loved this second instalment of Corrigan Bain's saga, I had a hard time pressing the pause button. It's another formidable story by Gene Doucette and so well brought to life by Steve Carlson!

Colin Morgan as a narrator is not for me.

I just started to listen to the book and I simply can't continue, the story might be ok but I just can't stand the narration by Colin Morgan, his style is simply incompatible with me.

I'm usually a big fan of Peter Clines and I truly enjoy the narration by Ray Porter but I really did not enjoyed that gathering of short stories.

I really liked the book and Ray Porter was perfect again for this Dennis E. Taylor's story!

I strongly recommend this audiobook if you wish to learn the bases of Mandarin, I was a skeptic at first with the audiobook format, painting myself to be more of a visual learner, but the way the author teaches the language progressively and adding repetitions along the way to recall what you previously learnt really works well. I only wish there was a second audiobook taking from where this one left!
