Grabs you by the doints and takes you on a wild ride.

Layers of satire, wit, and dry humor. I found myself laughing out loud far too often at the beautifully crafted metaphors and the dead pan manner in which they are delivering.

The narration is superb, only the author is capable of carrying out the same tone as the writing and it just works.

Looking forward to the next one.

The book ends on a satisfying cliffhanger that has brought all the storylines together in focus.

I am now fully invested into some surprisingly well fleshed out characters for a book that reads like watching 3 action blockbusters back to back.

R.C. Bray, as always, narrates beautifully. There's some bleed between of accents used for certain characters, but clears up into distinct voices when it really counts.

I had some gripes with the tropes of the first book, but I'm started to get invested in the characters and the universe. It's beginning to be a fun read, I'm glad I pushed through. R.C. Bray is awesome, easy to listen to, and reads easily distinguishable characters. Pretty good.

Progresses like a pretty generic video game. Considerable lack of perspectives that aren't from grizzled mysterious white dudes with a tragic past. The story is passable.

Bray killed it, his voice is easy to listen to and easily distinguishes different characters and the narrator.

The performance saved it for me.
