I know have a better understanding of race, racism and its destructive influence. Wilkerson's explores racism in America and the caste system with such eloquence. Her articulation is superb! Be prepared for many aah moments!

l will definitely share with friends. l loved the last two chapters that gave me ideas on how to gift my lover and receive sexual energy at the same time. He offers some unconventional approaches to relationships. l am still ponder on the idea of "not to put meaning to sexual experience". Makes sense.

I appreciated the eloquence of Baldwin. His insights, at this point in history, Baldwin's writing makes me realize that the fight for social justice is relevant today as it did then. This is a call for unceasing action; an call for systemic change.
