Like this title much more than "A Brief History of Time". Definitely on my list od books to listen to again.

I need to find a modern translation of this book.

Having listened to a book on Leonardor daVinci I was somewhat familiar with the characters and historic events referred to by Machiavelli unfortunately more often than not I got lost in the prose. Odd that "The Art of War" written much earlier translated many times over is a much easier listen.

I'm not being critical of the narrator or the book just my choice of the translation.

The story I been waiting for

As a lapsed/non-practicing/deeply disappointed Catholic this is the story I've been waiting for. For the better part of half a century a constant question/issue for me interns of modern Christian dogma has always been "what is the historical context in which Jesus lived?" Raza Aslan brought everything into focus and not just with a profound theological understanding of the evolution of Christianity but historical proof to back it up. A book I throughly enjoyed, have recommended and will re-listen.

A important book for Canadians interested in the history and prosecution of the Second World War by Canadian Soldiers.

BUT the narration unfortunately while excellent in terms of delivery was cringe worthy to say the least in terms of the pronunciation. Canadian names demonstrated that the narrator was a typical American without much knowledge of Canada. It's Regina as in vagina not regeena and other examples of Canadian names and places. The French faired a little better but not much.

Please find Canadians to narrate books about Canada.
