Story
Serving as a powerful follow-up to Jordan Peterson’s book 12 Rules for Life, Dr. Gad Saad unpacks what is really happening in progressive safe zones, why we need to be paying more attention to these trends, and what we must do to stop the spread of dangerous thinking. A professor at Concordia University who has witnessed this troubling epidemic firsthand, Dr. Saad dissects a multitude of these concerning forces (corrupt thought patterns, belief systems, attitudes, etc.) that have given rise to a stifling political correctness in our society.

Story
We’ve all heard of fake news, but what about fake history? Dominic Sandbrook explores two and a half millennia of human history, traveling from the American Deep South to the air raid shelters of wartime Britain, to discover how the past has constantly been manipulated, rewritten and reshaped. It turns out that when it comes to history, separating fact from fiction isn’t always easy. Many of the widely held beliefs about our past are based on a web of lies.

nice to get another perspective. not saying I'd agree with everything presented but I think that's the point of this whole series is there is usually more than one side to the stories of history.

Story
Losing weight is one of the hardest things you can do and everyone seems to have a solution. There are new diets appearing all the time, new exercise routines, new technologies. So how do we know what to believe and why is it still so damn hard? Scientist Dr. Giles Yeo helps podcaster and columnist Olly Mann separate the fact from the fiction. Olly tries to figure out why he’s still fat and what he can do about it. They look at the latest science: how genes can affect our weight, how our brains are telling our bodies to keep that fat, and why proteins make you feel fuller for longer.

Most of us have a limited understanding of the powerful role economics has played in shaping human civilization. Designed to fill a long-empty gap in how we think about modern history, these 48 lectures are a comprehensive journey through more than 600 years of economic history.

really enjoyed it once I got a couple of hours into it. the narrator was doing his best and got a bit more comfortable as it proceeded. I love history and I think this one should be standard for high school kids. the material was easy to follow and the concepts were easy to grasp.
