RIP Sophie Toscan Du Plantier
Well done, they did a good job of presenting how this case unfolded. This is one of the saddest cases I have heard, the police absolutely let Sophie and Sophie's family down and Ian was treated so poorly that it is hard to know what he may have done or not done. Ian is a very strange individual, but I have met many strange individuals, that alone does not make him a murderer. The fact that he didn't leave doesn't surprise me, he says he was innocent, if he left they would have said that proved his guilt, damned if he did or didn't. The French and what they did is disgusting to me, there was no evidence to prove this man was guilty and they continued to pursue him. To hold a trial without him present, ridiculous, they do everything for show and have no regard for any sort of reasonable protection against being convicted for a crime you did not commit, horrible and frightening.

Beautiful story of reality and redemption

I have never read a book that spoke to me like this one, thank you for writing it...

This book was excruciatingly slow moving and repetitive, the actual premise of the story is interesting but my goodness, get to the point already......if not for the narrator I would never have gotten through it....the ending was so weak and saccharine I was actually angry that I stuck it out.....would definitely NOT recommend this book.

The first part was excellent, investigating Weinstein, what happened with Rose McGowan was heartbreaking and disgusting, but then it took a weird turn, the stuff about Trump was out of place, he had affairs, he did not sexually harrass or rape anyone, mixing that in made the author lose credibility with me and I am not a Trump fan. The rest of the book became more fictional it seemed, the story about Lauer's one accuser (Nevils) didn't hold water, the rest of the stuff he did was horrible and there seemed to be decent evidence to support that, it could have been two shorter books, one about Lauer and Weinstien et al, and one about his quest to reconcile his guilt over what happened to his sister and his handling of that.

The immitating of voices was extremely annoying, almost gave up but pushed forward.

I would only recomend this book if it was discounted, I'm glad I only used a discounted credit and didn't pay full price.

Repetitive, too many twists that didn't really make sense, in the end, each relationship was either unrealistic or unfinished,.....Richard Et al???? The Narrator's voice for Richard, distracting initially, annoying by the end. I really think this story could have been great, but fell short.

Great book and series, explains a lot but I can't stand Sara, her character grates on my nerves. I was going to read the Grant County series but I realized she is the central character, no thanks. The Will Trent Series I really enjoyed, Will is a great main character and the supporting cast (other than Sara) are colorful and interesting.

Excellent book beginning to end, didn't want to stop listening. Some of the descriptions were a little gruesome/harsh, had to skip a few parts, so warning to anyone who has experience violence, this may be too difficult to hear - otherwise would have given 5 stars.
