Austin's most brilliant novel brilliantly performed! I could not have been more pleased! I listened to the whole thing in about three days, and got no homework done in the meantime! This has been one of the very best audiobooks I've ever listened to!

As with all collections, there are jems and there are duds. with this one however, the jems are very bright, and there are enough of them that I cannot but recommend this collection. Furthermore, many of these stories have an emotional depth which have lingered with me well after finishing them. The last two stories are certianly a couple of the very best short stories I have ever read. I only give this collection 4.5 stars because there are a couple of stories which did very little for me, and I feel like calling this collection "20th century ghosts" was a touch misleading. Nevertheless, I highly recommend.

Loved it! took me a bit to get into but the large chunk of ground work really pays off. Definitely my favorite romantic novel that I've read, and I cannot wait for more from this author!!

Wow! Both easy to follow and dense in content. I especially love his appreciation for the beauty of Plato. I was often moved when reading him back in school and that element of his genius seems to be often overlooked. Furthermore, this series really reminded me how relevant Plato is for the challenges we face today, not only philosophically, or politically, but also as individuals (... well at least for me). Five stars!

Great narrator! Great translation! Best audio bible I've read! Easier to follow due to thw readers speed (than others ive tried)

However layout makes it a pain to find specific books and chapters(a serious flaw)

The author manages to be very informative while going slowly enough that a novice can follow. Amazing, exciting, I learned a lot.
