Story
Busy Philipps’ autobiographical audiobook offers the same unfiltered and candid storytelling that her Instagram followers have come to know and love, from growing up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and her painful and painfully funny teen years to her life as a working actress, mother, and famous best friend. Busy is the rare entertainer whose impressive arsenal of talents as an actress is equally matched by her storytelling ability, sense of humor, and sharp observations about life, love, and motherhood. Her conversational writing reminds us what we love about her on screens of all sizes.

I love Busy Philipps

Not a bad book. Some of the reviews talked about laughing out loud which never happened for me, it was interesting to hear about the difficulties she faced with show business and life - I especially appreciated her brutal honesty about James Franco. I wish there had been more laughs but I don’t regret listening to her story.

Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Easy to listen too but not completely informative

As someone who doesn’t read a lot of self-help books, I found it gave me a slightly new perspective on some traditional problems. I enjoyed the conversational vocabulary, the narrator did a fantastic job.
