This is a tale of sorrow, a tale of survival, a tale of one man's search for meaning in his universe, and how that search, and the indomitable will that drove it, gave birth to a legend.

Not Nick's best performance, but maybe that's the book.

Kept jumping to different areas and characters, found absolutely nothing to attach to and the individual stories weren't interesting enough to make me curious. Had no time to find bearing in what the rules of the world are either.

2 1/2 hours lost.

The narrator had a very drone voice that was difficult to listen to for a long time. Once there became more and more characters though, all the other character voices were well done though! Unfortunately the voice I listen to the most needs to be better though.
Story was pretty good. It was slow going early, but eventual found its stride.

The book had a really slow start focusing on just first person of the main character as he described his own trials. But despite how slow it was, once he encountered other characters it was a wild ride that was thoroughly enjoyable!

Excited for the 2nd book, just in time for it to come out!

I sometimes find that I'll be slow to leave the car when I reach my destination because it's so good! Great story, love the premise, and the voice acting is top notch.
