I loved the book, the movie and now the audiobook. The characters are so we'll developed and her description of the world they live in is rich and complex. The narrators voice for the seeker is a little irritating but so is the character. Will definitely be a reread in the future.

This is lukewarm read at best.

I like Brielle and Lincoln but the story rushes from one event to another. The narrator is too fast and the same no matter what is happening.

Boring. Narrator too fast.

The book was boring, and too short for the cost. The narrator should only narrate comedies. There was no change in her tone no matter if it were serious or funny. These books could have easily been 1 or 2 books instead of 4. Questioning whether to continue.

Love the characters and story. Stuck closer to the original than expected. Would have liked a little more of the characters time to be together and a little more romance. Overall great book. Couldn't stop listening!

Great story but slow moving.

I really liked the story but at times it was a little to poetic and therefore stalled the story. the characters were well developed and and the relationships were well written even if sometimes I wanted to slap Ruby for being so naive. Looking forward to seeing what happens next.

I like when a sequel ties up loose ends. this book did that and more. Of course, the subject matter is disturbing and at times this book can be repetitive but the character development more than makes up for it. Definitely need to read if you read the Program.

Narrator makes women sound ditsy.

Story was good. I'd say a little better than the first. Still a little wordy. Narrator makes women sound high pitched and breathy. They all sound the same. It makes it feel like the female characters are not important with the exception of Sutton. which isn't true.

Too long. Uncomfortable antagonists

I am a big Cassandra Clare fan but I had a difficult time with this one. First the Dark Artificies series does not have the humor the Mortal Instruments did so it is endlessly tragic. All your favorite characters are in pain ALL THE TIME. Maybe because this book deals with every combination of romantic relationship you can think of. The Antagonists are the most evil, unrelenting, despicable characters I have ever read and through most of the book they seem to have the upper hand and the heroes are tortured right up till the very end. I eventually got too depressed and jumped ahead 5 hrs and found I only missed 3 key points in the storyline and was easily able to scan back and find them and they added up to about 15min of content. I hope the next book brings back the magical sparkle her other series had.

I read this book a couple years ago and then thoughts it would be fun to listen to it. I was correct! Super fun and light read. Truly a unique concept.

This is a very predictable love story series. It was recommended because I enjoyed Robyn Carr's Thunder Point series. It doesn't keep you engaged the same way. The narrator changed in this third installation in Lucky Harbour and she is fat better. Chloe probably my favorite of the 3 sisters and Sawyer is a character to love just for the way he loves her. But this book does not inspire me to read past this book.
