A great start to a series. You can already see the fun that can be had with the eclectic, colourful cast if characters introduced in this first entertaining book.

I love the Happily Everlasting series!

The books are a wonderful mix if innocence and sweetness topped off with the whirlwind romance that don't take themselves seriously.

Each one leaves your inner child feeling light-hearted and hopeful that the world might still be filled with silly, fanciful romantic possibilities.

Patricia Briggs succeeds where so many flounder!

Ms. Briggs' characters meet life's challenges and their own supernatural circumstance with perseverance, strength, vulnerability and resolve in a relatable yet enviable way. She's avoided allowing them to become stuck in behaviours that make readers want to yell at them for and kept them interesting and growing in depth over the series.

Ms. King's narrative talents are always a joy to listen to and with the richness of the unfolding world Particia Briggs is creating for us in her stories, we are left wanting more at the end of each book.

Such an adorable and delightful book!

Lauren Fortgang does a great job as usual, however, Gin Blanco has become tiresome.

It was okay for her to be an occasionally inept assassin somehow surviving every ordeal by sheer luck and feeling guilty about her past but in the last few books it's become grating.

In Venom in the Viens Gin has become annoyingly whiny lamenting about how she is responsible for making the evil character what they are today while at the same time knowing the character was already evil.

In addition, on one hand she can take out multiple trained giant guards by herself but then somehow loses all her fighting skills, doesn't use her magic effectively and gets beaten to near death.

It's time Gin accepted her role as underworld queen, stopped whining about her past, takes charge and kicks butt like the strong, ingenious and feared assassin she's supposed to be!

Always something new and interesting

Patricia Briggs had created a series that has so many dimensions to explore it allows her to introduce new, interesting characters rich with back stories you want to know more about. Ms. King is one of voice acting's consistent talents who never disappoints.

A fun, entertaining, good time. Christopher Moore's humour always has my laughing out loud - which often means looking like an insane person wandering around with earbuds in and grinning like a fool
