I really liked the story and the narrator did an okay job, but there were several weird audio errors. I liked having the Capitol perceptive on the games and I loved Lucy Gray, but Snow kinda got more annoying as the book went on. Even with that I feel that this was a good addition to the hunger games saga.

This book was so good! Some parts were a little cartoony but it doesn’t take away from the story. Not for those with a weak stomach though! It never goes full horror, so those who want a great paranormal story will really enjoy!

It’s so freaking good!

I can’t explain how good this book is. I listened to it over the course of three days and I never lost interest! I couldn’t turn it off. The character were amazing, the writing was amazing, the way the book torn out my heart and took its place there was amazing. This book was breath taking. It make me want to visit Alaska just so I can see the amazing imagery that the author describe. Julia Whelan brings all of the characters to life in a way that made them seem real and tangible. It made me laugh, cry and feel every emotion in between. It brought to live the amazing relationship between a mom and daughter dealing with terrible things, but whose love for each is as strong as Alaskan is beautiful. I haven’t read a book like this in a long time and I’m looking forward to reading Kristin Hannahs other novels!
