This was a very enlightening book and I'll be buying it in hard copy so that I can write in it and take notes. I enjoyed listening to it first and the performance of the narrator is quite good. Blows my mind this was written so long ago but is still extremely relevant even till today.

Really amazing!

Beyond challenging to hear, this story is captivating and riveting from cover to cover (metaphorically since it's all audio haha). With good rhythm and interesting storytelling, the author's narration was beautifully done. Her strength of character, emotional insight and wisdom shine throughout the entire thing and I find myself feeling familiar and at ease with her spontaneous trains of thought and digressions. Wonderfully done!

This has been an amazing experience. Challenging for me all throughout, but I kept seeing myself yearning to get back to it, so it is engaging as all heck. Mel Robbins has a talent for speaking and her intuition and wisdom seems to be without limit. Thank you Mel, that's all I can really say. Thank you.

I really enjoyed this audiobook, the story was riveting, especially near the end! I felt deeply for the author and her unfortunate experience. I really got into the story, and although the writing was sometimes simplistic, she expressed it well. Very easy to digest! The only thing... was the puns. Don't get me wrong I love puns, they were simply narrated a little too much in an obvious way and took away from the power of the humour. The jokes were not the problem, but the way they were spelled out too obviously. On a positive note for her performance, the authenticity during emotionally difficult moments were beyond touching and captivating. I highly encourage her to continue writing and narrating, as I think the potential is truly there. I couldn't wait to keep listening. I tried doing it all in one shot but unfortunately, I had appointments and engagements (which I cursed in my mind) because all I wanted to do was stay up all night listening. Fantastic! Please, please, make more!
