I wish it were longer, as I'm sure everyone that reads this book wishes as well too. Despite its short run time, it's still worth it to have in your collection. Marc Cuban is a winner. You'll want to hear from him.

If you're a fan of Gary V than you already know it's good. If you've never heard of Gary V, you're going to be a fan. I would recommend starting with his first book, Crush it, before moving onto this. You will get a lot more insight on the material here if you start there.

There was nothing wrong with the advice in this book. Some of the stories I really resonated with, despite not knowing who the people in question were before hand. Others I didn't really care for and never really got connected to. The bigger names that I did care for like Gary V or Grant Cardone, I felt could have been longer. As they were the people I was most interested in, so yes I'm bias. I'm a little disappointed that Daymond didn't use more of his fellow sharks like Marc Cuban. I felt that was a real missed opportunity. His other book, "The power of broke" is significantly better and will probably resonate with more people. This one has a lot of filler and while there are nice things to take from this from some of the people, overall it left me disappointed. If you're a seasoned entrepreneur or someone that runs your own business that's looking for ways to help grow or improve your or your staffs abilities/outlooks... this isn't going to be for you. This is too basic and is really surface level. It's a nice listen while on the go, but won't do much on teaching you things that you probably already know.
