Incredibly powerful book and audiobook, raw and uncomfortable at times, Mel Robbins has a special ability to laser-in the root causes of ordinary and extraordinary trauma. She unfolds it, exposes it and allows for it to be seen, understood and healed. Her profound compassion, support and sense of humor make this book a must for everyone that wants to be happier and more fulfilled in life.

enjoyed the clarity of the book and the actionable examples that are often included. there is a lot of theory on the principles only seldomly matched with numbers or supporting data. however, undoubtedly very useful overview as legal education.

not a book for faints of heart and not a book for people that are turned off by the "motivational" use of the F-bomb. inspiring and direct, it offers straight in your face truths that can't be said any simply: show up, choose, get the work done, repeat. every single day.

loved it. that said, as with many books on parenting, most of times there are references to a family in which both parents play full in and are committed to each other. every once in a while to have a chapter spotlighting the different challenges of parenting alone it would be refreshing and make you feel "you are not alone". in this book there is one testimonial of one single mom, but it would be great to have suggestions for these situations (oh so many!) in which the family is disrupted and high, chronic stress and conflict is a status quo.
