I was expecting the book to provide insight regarding understanding perspectives and intricacies of human interaction. It was just a narration of historical events to support the one very simple observation of "defaulting to truth". The author illustrated the issues that this concept causes between humans but basically said there's nothing we can do about it because it would be unacceptable in society to act differently. This just left me feeling uneasy. Generally wouldn't recommend.
