Here, one sees clearly and honestly why good intentions are thwarted and how stubborn oppositional agents operate to shrivel any attempt to serve the people. A kind generosity conveys the players in this historical rendering with justice and understanding. More importantly, Obama's personal voice punctuates his real character and striving compassion throughout the events of his life and presidency. Excellence permeates the entirety of both the content and the production.

Although he taught originally in the 1950s, the practicality and the familiarity of his words and examples are time proofed. Especially in today's relativistic, nothing-is-really-true approaches to daily living, Sheen is forthright in his logic and trust to clarify every person's goal in life is to be happy. As well as encouraging pursuing a life of happiness, the teaching of the faith is clearly outlined and explained.

Zukav creates a point of view about life and reality which is truly worthy of attention. Being both practical in suggestions for action and habit and philosophical in painting a universal life view, the ideas challenge ego-centric or cultural-centric thinking. The book pushes one to appreciate a reality which is universal and achievable to benefit anyone's life. Although not all the ideas are necessarily acceptible to everyone, the book remains a most interesting journey for a soul.

Expecting more memoirs and more humour in the misinformation, this book turns out to be a mish-mash of fantasy merged with actuality; i.e. the final product is a psychological pathos. The book is a very creative saunter through Carrey's mind utilizing both fact and fiction. Interesting often, but not what was expected as, primarily, a memoir.

McConaughey blurts honest admissions into his tale of learning to live, and his orientation toward the lessons he learned. Interjected with original "bumper sticker" thoughts and other perspectives, the book is a delight for a casual time of entertainment. The only problem is the inconsistency of the volume; i.e. when he whispers, it tends to be inaudible, and then his yelling tends to be too much volume. When listening in a car, this means that small sections throughout are missed.

This is an excellent study of the Cross of Christ, questioning its purpose simply as atonement for all humanity's sins. The necessity of the crucifixion is given a fresh, understandable and convincing approach outside of a theology of atonement in the context of the theology of God's Love. Although the reading is a bit soft (i.e. non-emphatic, understated), the content is outstanding.
