A great no holds barred book. Have Scott Brick narrate can add to any book. He’s the best out there.

Dick Hill did a better job of narration in the Lincoln Lawyer series than these. Too slow and jerky. I set it to 1.25 speed which was better but that also made the jerkiness worse. The book was good of itself.

Of all this authors books I’ve read so far, this ones the best. Fast paced right out of the starting line. Keeps you guessing till close to the end.

Hold on for the ride folks. Great story, in fact one of his best. The last hour and a half or 2 you can’t put it down. Thanks.

Haven’t read a John Grisham for many years so didn’t know what to expect. Started out slow, but finished pretty good. It’s not like his Pelican Brief or The Firm, but still worth a read.

I thot this book would be full of highlights of different games and or of teammates or such likes but it isn’t. Or of different happenings of other hockey players but really very little of that. Really a great era in which he played. Hard to really describe this book but was disappointed and will return it.

This book is mostly about his training which is disappointing. Only the last 1.5 hrs is about his life as a PJ. One thing, his life as a PJ was cut short by injury. In these kind of books, the author always write about his (tough training) which I don’t doubt, but this one takes it to a whole new level which takes up way too much of this book.

Interesting read for a cop story. One fault I have is sometimes he adds too much drama to details when they would be better without. I start fast forwarding.
