Half a century after the Doomsday Battle, the uneasy balance of Dark Forest Deterrence keeps the Trisolaran invaders at bay. Earth enjoys unprecedented prosperity due to the infusion of Trisolaran knowledge. if you had to patience to came this long, you already know it was well worth the trip... larger than life, full of imagination, realistic portrait of the dark true nature of (not so) intelligent beings, and for the most part a smart integration of physics and mathematics to a fictional world (which is rare in these kind of stories)
