I wanted to love this book, and it has a lot of good concepts but it’s not very straight forward to the point and there’s a lot of fluff that makes it kind of confusing to listen to... Lovely concept but might have to come back to it later in life

This book is incredible and I want to be best friends with the author. She writes from experience and she has experiences many hard things in her life, and I really took to the words she spoke and the challenges she gave and I loved the book. I even cried at the end when it was over! I will definitely keep this in my library forever and listen to it again.

I appreciate that this is such an iconic and classic book but it was way too hard for me to listen to, and to grasp the concepts spoken about. I think it holds a lot of valuable information but I had to return it because I couldn’t foresee myself getting through 16 hours of the book.

I read The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck because it has been such a popular book. It’s has an interesting perspective, but not sure I really followed along with the stories or the lessons in the book. I wouldn’t read this again but it is a good read for someone looking for a lighter hearted book that doesn’t dive that deep into subjects.

I really enjoyed 13 Things Mentally Strong Women Don’t Do. It’s a great book for giving straight forward habits and strategies that you can begin implementing into your own life right away in order to begin to improve yourself and become a stronger person mentally. She had a lot of good real life situations from her therapy clients and I related to all 13 characteristics mentioned in some way or another.
