A The Notebook worthy love story. The Epilogue was a lovely addition to the story. Well done, Nicholas Sparks!

The first 8 chapters are the most disturbing ones that I’ve ever read. However, I could not stop listening.

Then, came part 2 and it was the total opposite: good feelings all the way.

Then part 3 brought back some violence but. It as bad as it was in part 1.

Altogether this was a book that kept me coming back and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Kudos to Norah and January.

I must say that I enjoyed the first 2/3 of this book but then my attention waned. One question kept returning to my mind: how did she afford to make studying her life? Where did her living expenses come from? It also ended very quickly but I was ready for it to end. Needless to say that if there is a sequel, I will not be one of its readers.

Another edge-of-my-seat thriller. I’m not a fan of the past/present reads but this one worked once I got used to it. I enjoy a book that I keep wanting to get back to. Well narrated also. Looking forward to reading more of Karin Slaughter.

Oh my goodness! How did this book ever get its title? So many times, like never before, my hand automatically went over my mouth because I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I listened to the last 4,5 hours in one sitting because I couldn’t turn it off. However, when the ending came, it had me as surprised as the rest of the book. 😢

Halfway through, I went and pre-ordered her next novel. Best new author whom I’ve read in a very long time!

I have always enjoyed books by Fern Michaels. The twists, surprises and cliff handed ending kept me listening much longer than I should be awake.

The combination of this author and narrator is perfect! This is my third book by K L Slater and she never disappoints. I enjoy a book that keeps me wanting to read and read and read. She managed it with this one again. On to the next one!

I am always happy when a book keeps calling to me when I’m away from it. This one did that. I kept wanting to find out what happened next. The twist near the end was a bonus touch. Well done, Karin Slaughter.
