Well done but was expecting more progress...

Great story but wanted more progress in the story. Some of the previous books were shorter in terms of hours like book 1, 3 and 6 but there was more progress in the story-line. Maybe we were spoiled by book 7 that was 46hrs long. This book too a while and I guess my expectation was that it would cover more ground.

I can see how this book is building groundwork for later books but there needs to be a balance between story and world building.

Still buying the next book...but would appreciate it coming sooner or covering more ground.

Still my favorite book series at the moment.

Main character is a immersion breaking contradiction.

The main character is the world’s greatest assassin? She acts like a 14 year old never mind an 18 year old who killed a ton people. Was also not a fan of the writing style. The narrating is just not good enough. Can’t distinguish characters at all. Was 8 chapters in and could not take it anymore. Returned.

Way too many people give 5 stars for the most mediocre books.

Great follow up to the previous 3 books! More and more I want to play this RPG! The audio team knocked this out of the park with great sound effects and ambient noise that help paint the picture even more! Truly enjoyed the story telling style!

I enjoyed this book, however I become evermore frustrated by the slow pace. Not for the impatient. The protagonist takes an age to overcome crippling issues.

Despite these issues this book has laid the foundation for something special.

#Audible1

First of all...Nick Podehl is the best narrator I have come across on Audible.

I love the characters and enjoyed the pace of the story. The rest of the series is where the book really shines. Busy with book 3 and enjoying every minute of it.

Once again a great story with darkness, humor, drama and action. I am greedily garding my latest credit in anticipation for the next release...which is close right?

Nick Podehl is an evil genius who has ruined all other narrators for me.
