Yuval Noah Harari’s 21 Lessons for the 21st Century is a probing and visionary investigation into today’s most urgent issues as we move into the uncharted territory of the future. As technology advances faster than our understanding of it, hacking becomes a tactic of war, and the world feels more polarized than ever, Harari addresses the challenge of navigating life in the face of constant and disorienting change and raises the important questions we need to ask ourselves in order to survive.

If you have been following Yuval Noah Harari’s work, you will not be disappointed. He still delivers the same experience, knowledge and insight.

If you are new to his work, I recommend this to read first and then go to Sapiens and Homo Deus.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, one in nine Americans works in sales. Every day more than 15 million people earn their keep by persuading someone else to make a purchase. But dig deeper and a startling truth emerges: Yes, one in nine Americans works in sales. But so do the other eight. Whether we’re employees pitching colleagues on a new idea, entrepreneurs enticing funders to invest, or parents and teachers cajoling children to study, we spend our days trying to move others.

From Andre Agassi, one of the most beloved athletes in history and one of the most gifted men ever to step onto a tennis court, a beautiful, haunting autobiography. Agassi brings a near-photographic memory to every pivotal match and every relationship. Never before has the inner game of tennis and the outer game of fame been so precisely limned.

All these years I have been a fan of tennis for the sake of the sport. After this book, I’ve being touched at the soul-level.

Adding one more contradiction to Andre’s book of life, this book finds me in January 2018, kinda like it waiting for me to be ready to listen. I’m not sure if I’ll ever have the opportunity to meet Andre in person so that is why I‘m foolishly using this as the vehicle to reach out. This book has done for me something that I needed but I guess I was not ready to ingest. The affirmation that I’m not alone in this world where contradictions, pain, rebellion and chaos junkiness. Im not sure if that last world exist, but I don’t care. I just hope that I can have a few hours over hamburgers to thank Andre in person for my “at the right time formation” Thanks Andre

Amazing stories that connect perfectly with the principles shared throughout the book. Love the simplicity of the approach and how it is positioned to start acting now
