In 2009, Susannah Cahalan woke up in a strange hospital room strapped to a bed, under guard, and unable to move or speak. Her medical records - from a month-long hospital stay of which she had no memory - reported psychosis, violence, and dangerous instability. Yet, only weeks earlier she had been a healthy, ambitious twenty-four-year-old, six months into her first serious relationship and a sparkling career as a cub reporter

This book was written so well! I couldn't help but relate to this character and her struggle. Countless times I was near tears by her story and couldn't believe a person could endure such a trial. There were even times when I almost believed I was going through the same ordeals she was until I had to remind myself that this was a story of another woman's life. That's how well the book was written. The narrator of the audio also did a very good job and made the story more emotional because she gave off the right amount of feeling when reading that Susannah must have felt in that moment or in the recounting of her month of madness and afterwards.

This book is a fantastic concluding novel! It makes you feel all emotions but then ends so fantastically. All together a great series and best performance I've heard on audible! (and I've listened to LOTS of books)

Audie Award, Multi-Voiced Performance, 2016. The year is 2575, and two rival mega-corporations are at war over a planet that's little more than an ice-covered speck at the edge of the universe. Too bad nobody thought to warn the people living on it. With enemy fire raining down on them, Kady and Ezra - who are barely even talking to each other - are forced to fight their way onto one of the evacuating fleet, with an enemy warship in hot pursuit.

At first I thought the sound effects weird but they made the book! It was awesome. It made listening to the book that much better. The writing was very well done. I thought it would be choppy since it was intercepted messages, emails, etc but it was so well put together.
