I struggled to finish The Book of Lost Names. The premise is terrific but I found the writing style predictable. Sadly the narrator's performance was poor which compounded the problem. Overall I was very disappointed.

I loved this book. The author tells a poignant story of grief , love and survival. I really appreciated the artful way Cummins illustrated the brutal reality of man's inhumanity to man and balanced that with the humanity and generosity that Lydia and Luca experienced and gave others along their journey.

As with all of the Liane Moriarty books I have read, I enjoyed the story. Moriarty has a beautiful way of developing her characters and drawing me into their lives.
However, I did not enjoy listening to the narrator for The Last Anniversary. The narration did not have an easy or natural flow that I found distracting.

I purchased this book because Ken Follett is the author. Sadly, I was very disappointed in the story and style of The Third Twin. in my opinion, the book is unrecognizable as a Ken Follett book.
