I expected an interesting perspective in the current political climate of the US in begining this book. I was provided with so much more than that. The discussuon around ethical leadership was incredibly valuable.

The book also skirted politics for most of the first 2/3 which was nice.

Would listen again.

What is the nature of space and time? How do we fit within the universe? How does the universe fit within us? There's no better guide through these mind-expanding questions than acclaimed astrophysicist and best-selling author Neil deGrasse Tyson. But today, few of us have time to contemplate the cosmos. So Tyson brings the universe down to Earth succinctly and clearly, with sparkling wit, in digestible chapters consumable anytime and anywhere in your busy day.

Good book and good performance.

Took a few times to get through as it is fairly dry and would likely be better read where you can easily pause and re-read parts that you wish to think further on or take time to understand.

Great for those interested in science but don't know what/where to start.

Would reccommend to listen to in one sitting (or closely spaced sittings). Which is doable by the short length.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is an important figure for our times, its worth the read.

One of the comedy world's fastest-rising stars tells his wild coming of age story during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa and the tumultuous days of freedom that followed. Noah provides something deeper than traditional memoirists: powerfully funny observations about how farcical political and social systems play out in our lives.

Trevor Noah is quickly becoming my favourite comedian.

I just read Long Walk to Freedom so this book followed it nicely, in the timing of the ending of apartheid and was nice and light to listen to.

This book often made me laugh out loud, and I truly enjoyed the stories that Trevor shared in it about his time growing up in South Africa.

Nelson Mandela is one of the great moral and political leaders of our time: an international hero whose lifelong dedication to the fight against racial oppression in South Africa won him the Nobel Peace Prize and the presidency of his country. Since his triumphant release in 1990 from more than a quarter-century of imprisonment, Mandela has been at the center of the most compelling and inspiring political drama in the world.

Often in a van, sometimes in a bus, occasionally in a car with broken wipers "using Bob's belt and a rope found by Paddy's Pond" to pull them back and forth, Alan and his bandmates charted new territory, and he constantly measured what he saw of the vast country against what his forefathers once called the Daemon Canada. In a period punctuated by triumphant leaps forward for the band, deflating steps backward, and everything in between.

Loved it. Great Canadian story, would listen again.

This was a story I impulsively chose, but entirely fell in love with. Author was great to listen to. The story both made you feel at home as well as if you were travelling along. The storyline and perspective were enjoyable.
