One of Tolkien's greatest tales. I didn't know I loved poetry this much! This book is like drifting away to music.

I love Tolkien's work. It's wonderful to get a chance, even if only a little one, to peak into his life. After this I want a portrait of him on my wall.

I've been listening to Jordan Peterson lecturers for about 8 months. I live under a rock so I missed whatever the initial reaction people had to what Doctor Peterson had said that brought him into the spotlight, though I've looked into it since. His lectures have been incredibly helpful to me and have helped me move forward in my life and take responsibility. I finally got around to listening to, this book! Its a great listen, and at times can be difficult to hear, but its worth it. Highly recommend!

I made the mistake of listening the this at work during that pivotal moment. So well told I had to sit to give my heart a moment to stop racing. A very intense book.

The evolution of a tale. Very interesting to hear about the changes made and get a little insight into both Tolkien's writing and thoughts.

A classic well narrated. It takes time for the story to pick up, and you may wonder how it all comes together, but stick with it. You won't regret it!

One of the greatest books written. I love Tolkien’s work. Grab a wee dram, ready your pipe, sit and listen.
